Volume 2, Lumi (1)

In the time that Fei, Zana, Zynthia and Yuuki were off in another town, Lumi had been left alone. These are just a few of the things that occurred.

“Nii-san~ Why did you leave me alone~~?”

Lumi said something which may have sounded like she was sad in a sing song voice. When others heard this, they seemed to be purposely avoiding her. When someone approached her, everyone just shook their heads.

“Excuse me, are you alright?”

A boy, a few years older than her, approached her and asked. With flowing black hair which reached his shoulders, green eyes and a small amount of stubble if you were to describe him in one word, it would be ‘handsome’.

“Eh? I’m fine? I’m just missing nii-san!”

“Is that so? Then, would you like to do something to keep your mind occupied?”

In response to the handsome boy, Lumi tilted her head. Silence ensued for a few seconds, before she spoke up again.

“Why would I want to keep my mind occupied? Nii-san is all I need.”

The handsome boy was dumbstruck. This girl… she seemed to be completely obsessed with her elder brother. He doubted there was anything he could say which would make her happy.

“Well, if you ever need help, my name is Talin. Just ask a teacher here and they’ll lead you to me. Farewell.”

Having said that, the handsome boy called Tarin left Lumi to continue with her strange mannerisms.

“Remember, the key to winning a battle is focus. If you can alter the focus of your opponent, then you can win even if you are weaker. In the same vein, if they can alter your focus, you’ll have lost.”

Lumi was currently in a class.

“…If you’re not focused in the first place, then there won’t be a battle… WAKE UP!”

“EH? NII-SAN?! WHERE ARE YOU?!”

Hearing Lumi who had been asleep simply yell out for her older brother, almost the entire class hit their heads to their desks. It seemed this was a common occurrence.

“Yet another time, Lumi. No matter what, you fall asleep in class and dream about your brother… This has been happening for years.”

“I… Wanna play with nii-san!”

The teacher was dumbstruck. This girl… it seemed the only thing she cared about was her older brother. She doubted if there was anything she could do to change how she thinks.

“… Everyone, partner up. It’s time to do a mock battle.”

Lumi ended up being partnered with the teacher. Somehow, the teacher lost.

Lumi was currently in Fei and Zana’s room.

“Hehehe~ Nii-san, you know, I still remember? I wonder if you do, nii-san?”

While spouting out nonsense, she was holding onto the pillow which had Fei’s scent on it. It seemed as though she was deep into an odd mindset.

When the maid (their maid) came and saw this, she ignored it and went and cleaned the rest of the room. Around half an hour passed before she went up to Lumi.

“I need to change the sheets.”

The maid blatantly said so, leaving Lumi at a loss.

“B-but… I want to be with nii-san’s scent longer!”

“Then take the pillow cover and go back to your own room.”

Unable to argue with the maid, she did as suggested.

The maid was not stunned. Although that girl was extremely obsessed with her older brother, it was not like she was bad. She didn’t think their was any point in changing how Lumi thinks.

These events caused the academy to have yet another bit of fame.

“The student with the most willpower to ever attend this academy… was an extreme brocon!”

(These events were written based on recounts of students at the academy. Although we would like to include Lun Lumi’s viewpoint, she only ever talks about Lun Fei.)
